WENT TO THE MARKET YESTERDAY
28 December 2011
We do have some super markets here that far more convenient than going to the market. The market is cheaper and there are some things you just won't see at the Super Market.

TEACHING TIME
We are teaching from Genesis 1:1 through to the ascension of Christ. We are laying a firm foundation so our students can clearly understand the Gospel of Grace. We teach in a very informal setting. We try to use simple and easily duplicated teaching aids. Pray that these folks will understand the Gospel and if they have not yet trusted in Christ as the payment for their sin, that they will trust Christ. Pray they will continue on with the training so they can take it back to their home churches.
OUTDOOR KITCHEN
Since these facilities are a former UFM/Crossworld dorm and mission facilities we need to modify it some for Papuan/Indonesian style living. This includes adding and outdoor kitchen.
Our Discipleship Center attendees will cook with a wood fire which is normal for them and also saves money on other types of fuel like kerosene or LPG.
I will add more pictures once the "tungku" or fireplace for cooking is done.
The project is a central trash burner for the discipleship program. We used rocks from around the property for the foundation and a well insert for the top. There are two wire grills in between for the trash to burn. Only the ash goes into the trash hole. This will allow the hole to last years longer.
Thanks for sharing these photos!! Helps me here in Oklahoma to get a glimpse of the people and places and culture of where you and Tweety & kids are serving in Indonesia! Praying for you guys!! Priscilla Arneecher (Tahlequah, OK)
